Scenic Drive was completed this week. It’s interesting how these paintings evolve. Last weekend I sketched at a street right at the top of Merewether which looks over to Newcastle. So in the far distance I could see Obelisk, Cathedral etc. This painting just happened. I thought it might be more realistic when I started but it has ended up colourful and humourous. My art is a narrative. And it’s playful. Definitely not serious.Let me know what you think?

I’m going to put this one in Seascape an Beyond. Exhibition I don’t know. I have one at the end of the year at truevision. But I’d like to have a go at a Newcastle gallery.
