An update…

So my art at present. I’m glad I took the opportunity to have a regular space in The Emporium to showcase my art. The shop, Fancy That, is really looking good. My affordable prints seem to be popular but they are cute. And I do have some novelty items. Take a look at some of the hand painted cups I have there at the moment.

Also today I brought in 2 espresso cups I’ve turned into candles.

The ANZAC mural at Redhead Public School.

 

 
In April I undertook a challenge to paint a mural at the local school. I discovered it is not that easy to paint on brick. I’m happy with the result though. And it’s bright and has a sense of fun like most of my art.

Also the tapestry. At last it’s finished and has been taken to the framers. I definitely see myself doing more similar work. But for now I’m using Derwent pencils to create my own drawings to colour in. What a relaxing way to pass the time. I hear it’s a bit of a movement at present and I can understand why. So meditative. I’ll post the results in the near future.
